Some personal thoughts:
When I checked about this book before signing for the promo, I thought that the only bad think about it is that it's fifth in a series and therefore you better check the rest first. When I got through the previous books I was delighted. They sound so good as a story plot, and I think it is rather hard to find lgbt novel with female protagonists and a strong, interesting story to back it, which is a pity. So in case you're in search of a diverse read or just a fan of the historical, I estimate this is worth giving a try. I'll do my best to spare some time to do so in the future. Oh, and the cover may look bit blank to you now, but let it stand next to the other of the series, and you'll be surrounded of gentle, sepia-coloured beauty, reminding me of old photos and yellowed lace.
